The award recognises the most effective use of technology to help deliver core organisational objectives and how it has been integrated into systems within an organisation.

HIAL received the award for the introduction of the software which has transformed how training content is delivered across its 11 airports.

HIAL began using the system early this year and has since developed training and informational videos for a range of operational departments.

The system has enabled teams within HIAL to create practical training videos at a much quicker pace than has previously been possible, enabling the organisation to adapt to learning needs within shorter timeframes.

This has proven particularly important in helping to carry out operational training to teams as well as providing a wider understanding of the procurement process for suppliers during recent tender opportunities.

Darren MacLeod, director of safety, compliance and security at HIAL, said, “We are thrilled to have received this award.

“The new software has proven to be an extremely valuable tool for building our training content portfolio and provides us with a modern, flexible and efficient way to train staff across all our airports.”
