Highland police seek appeal for help tracing trail biker posted missing from Golspie area

HIGHLAND police have issued an appeal for help tracing a man posted missing after failing to return home yesterday afternoon as expected.

Police Scotland said they are concerned for the wellbeing of George McGowan (77), who is from the Golspie area.

Mr McGowan was out trail biking around Ben Bhraggie on a white Beta Alp 200 motorcycle and did not return home as expected at lunchtime yesterday.

He is decsribed as white male, 5'11", tall and of medium build with short grey hair. He wears glasses and was wearing a blue Reak motorbike jacket, blue boiler suit, blue boots and black motorcycle helmet and goggles.

Anyone with information which may assist in tracing him is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident 1885 27/07/2020.
