Police in the Highlands are investigating after a disturbing video began circulating on social media showing a young male with facial injuries.
It followed a serious assault which was reported on Friday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We urge anyone with knowledge of this video to contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
Friday's incident was reported from Laurel Avenue in Inverness and enquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing. The spokeswoman added: "The victim did receive hospital treatment."
