Highland police appeal for help tracing man

HIGHLAND police have appealed for help tracing a man last seen yesterday evening.

Robert Gunn from Halkirk was last seen at 6pm in the Caithness village, police said in an appeal.

He is described as approximately 5ft 4inches in height and of medium build. He is bald and was last seen wearing a blue fleece hoodie, blue body warmer, tracksuit bottoms and possibly dark coloured trainers.

Local residents have been asked to check any sheds and outbuildings.
