STONES are providing a creative outlet for children in a Highland community during the extended lockdown.

Royal Dornoch Golf Club juniors kept busy over the Easter period with golfing activities posted on social media.

These included chipping into a bucket from five yards and indoor snooker putting!

Vice captain Willie Mackay said yesterday: "As we now prepare for a further lockdown period I thought these stone characters might provide some fun and variety for parents to try with their children.

"They can substitute wood for stones. They could use Lego. You know children – release their imagination."
