Highland Council has announced the closure of the U3823 Bught Road, Inverness on Tuesday, May 4.

The closure is required in the interest of public safety to enable contractors, working on behalf of Highland Council, to carry out piling works within the public road boundary.

A council spokesman said: "Traffic will be prohibited from Bught Road from its junction with the U3822 Bught Drive to its junction with the U3788 Ballifeary Lane."

The closure will be in place on Tuesday, May 4 and will only apply between the hours of 9.30am and 5.30pm.
