At around 7pm yesterday evening (May 5), the police notified Glenelg Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) that a couple of hill walkers were cragfast on their descent from Beinn Sgritheall — a 974-metre tall mountain around 17km south of Kyle of Lochalsh. Cragfast refers to being stranded or stuck on a crag.

“Thanks go to all the Glenelg and Kintail team members that turnout out to assist. We hope the couple are none the worse for their experience, and we wish them a safe journey home.”
