Thousands of Highland school and nursery children are set for another day at home as the cold snap continues.

With plummeting temperatures and fresh snow causing transport issues, many school heads have taken the decision to either not open for the day or delay opening.

The list is likely to be updated regularly as the morning progresses and parents are advised to check the status of their school regularly.
