Tain Library in Easter Ross opens a new chapter in coronavirus crisis by returning for collect and return service

BOOKWORMS denied access to their public library because of the coronavirus crisis have been given good news about the latest chapter in the drama.

Tain Library reopened yesterday for a Collect and Return service.

In common with other facilities, the services it has been able to offer have been dramatically reduced during the period of the pandemic.

The latest phase in the gradual relaxation of the restrictions is the return of the Collect and Return service.

Books can be returned during opening hours by dropping them off in the box at the door.

Opening hours are Monday 2-4.30pm; Tuesday10am-12pm and 2-4.30pm; Wednesday10am-12pm; Thursday 1pm-4.30pm and Friday 2-4pm.

Posting the "great news", the library said it can be contacted on 01862 892391 or by email at tain.library@highlifehighland.com to request books and arrange a collection time.
