Easter Ross distillery owner Glenmorangie makes two major appointments to accelerate growth of brand

A BID to ensure a famous Easter Ross distillery maintains its reputation as an industry-leading tourist attraction is being entrusted to a newly appointed director of corporate affairs and hospitality.
Ellie Goss takes up the newly created role on the executive team of the Glenmorangie Company in a move the dram maker says will help accelerate growth of the brand.
Ms Goss, who joined the company in 2014 as head of communications, will be responsible for ensuring that both the Tain-based Glenmorangie and the Ardbeg on Islay maintain their pulling power.
Caspar MacRae meanwhile has taken on an evolved and expanded role as the director of marketing and business development.He will have responsibility for the Glenmorangie brands as well as driving key markets and sales.
Company president Thomas Moradpour said both contribute a wealth of knowledge and experience and "have demonstrated their agility in meeting our changing business needs”.
