A NEW date for an eagerly anticipated Ross-shire gig by Dancing in the Moonlight stars Toploader has been announced.

The Covid crisis prompted cancellation of the band's Strathpeffer Pavilion show which had been scheduled for January this year.

The iconic Ross-shire venue, opening a new chapter under community ownership, has rescheduled the show for October 30 with all tickets already snapped up valid for the new date.

Toploader are no strangers to the Highlands having previously performed at the Belladrum Festival.

They have also played festivals ranging from T in the Park to Glastonbury and supported the likes of Robbie Williams, Tom Jones and Simple Minds.The Brit Award nominated act sold over a million copies of their debut album and have maintained a crowd-pleaser reputation as a live act.

Support comes from local Ross-Shire band "This Machine"
