Fresh appeal over Dingwall disturbance after four arrested then released pending further police inquiries
POLICE have issued a fresh appeal for information into a Dingwall disturbance in which a man was reportedly involved in a collision with a vehicle.
Police today confirmed that three woman and a man were arrested in connection with the disturbance in the Old Evanton Road and Tulloch Avenue areas of town and later released pending further investigation.
Police had initially flagged the Friday night incident in an appeal issued over the weekend after reports of a man being struck by a vehicle near commercial premises on Old Evanton Road.

Asked for an update today, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are continuing to appeal for information relating to incidents on Old Evanton Road and Tulloch Avenue in Dingwall, on the night of Friday, September 22, 2023.
“A report was received about a disturbance on Old Evanton Road, before it was reported a man was involved in a collision with a vehicle on Tulloch Avenue.
“Three women – aged 18, 27 and 27 – and a 21-year-old man were arrested in connection with the disturbance, and released pending further enquiries, which remain ongoing.
