There have been four additional confirmed coronavirus cases in the NHS Highland area in the past 24 hours, new figures have shown.

The new cases take the tally for the NHS Highland area since the start of the pandemic to 1426.

Some 369 people have tested positive across Scotland in the past 24 hours, taking the national total to 81,294. Scottish Government said the testing details were affected by a data processing issue.

And there have been three new reported deaths of people who have tested positive.

Elsewhere in the north, NHS Grampian had 37 new recorded cases in the past day, taking its tally to 4758.
