Firefighters called to house fire in Highland town

Firefighters were called out to put out a fire at a property in Alness.

The incident happened in the town's Milnafua area on Saturday night.

Two crews from Invergordon attended the incident after the alarm was raised at 9.45pm.

They used one hose reel jet to put out the fire after gaining access to the property.

It is understood no one was in the property at the time.

The stop message was reported at 10.12pm.

Police also attended the incident.

The previous night, firefighters from Inverness and Fortrose tackled a house fire on the Black Isle.
