Businesses and organisations are invited to support a Christmas Tree Festival being held at Inverness Cathedral.

It is the second tree festival held by the cathedral to raise funds for charities.

Last year there were more than 10 trees entered but cathedral Provost the Very Rev Sarah Murray said they are hoping to be bigger this year.

The Scottish Episcopal cathedral is also giving the community the opportunity to nominate the charities that could benefit from this festival.

The festival opens at 5pm on December 2 when the trees will be lit by a special guest. Entry forms are available from the cathedral.
