PEOPLE who spoke to an Easter Ross man the night before he went missing are being asked to make themselves known.

The appeal comes in the ongoing search to trace missing 34-year-old father Shaun Banner.

He was last seen in Invergordon near the railway station after midnight on Saturday, April 23.

Repeated appeals for information have been made and hundreds of people have stepped forward to help with searches which have, in recent days, concentrated on beaches and shorelines.

In a post this evening, Shaun's brother, Alan, said: "We are getting more and more people coming forward now saying they had been speaking to Shaun the night before he went missing and on the days leading up.

"If you had been speaking to him and haven’t said to myself, my mum or (Shaun's partner) Bexy can you please get in touch?

"We are trying to get the best possible picture of Shaun's contacts and movement on the lead up to this and we are now finding out information three-and-a-half weeks down the line. You maybe just write it off as nothing but this could be something of real importance to us as a partner, brother, mother and family."

A dedicated Facebook search page has been set up.

Shaun is described as 5ft 7in, with short brown hair, blue eyes and of slim build.

He was last seen wearing green and brown Crofter work trousers, a grey Rogue Attitude puffer-style jacket, blue RSE work top and grey, purple and blue Nike Air Max trainers.
