ONE of Ross-shire's largest primary schools has marked the last day of school before summer break with fond farewells.

Dingwall Primary posted: "Today marks the last day of school for the summer.

"Good luck to all those pupils who leave Dingwall Primary School for the final time to move to the Dingwall Academy next term. Farewell to the teachers and support staff who also leave today.

"Also, a special mention to Mr Raistrick who retires after seven years as headteacher – we wish him health and happiness to enjoy a more gentle pace of life."
