Highland emergency service crews attend ‘incident’ at Global Energy yard at Port of Nigg in Easter Ross

Emergency services were called to the Global Energy yard at Nigg following an "incident".

It is understood that the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service are on the scene.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that one fire engine from Tain was despatched to the site at 12.10pm to what it described as an "incident" and that the ambulance service were taking the lead.

The Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland have been approached for comment.

Global Energy Group has also been approached for information.

No other information was available at the time of writing.
