Highland trunk road A832 closed near Achanalt after multi-vehicle crash
A Ross-shire trunk road was closed earlier today following a collision involving multiple vehicles.
Emergency services are at the scene of a road traffic crash on the A832 near Achanalt, west of Garve, which happened at around 3pm today (Thursday, July 3).
Two ambulances and a GP were dispatched to the scene of the incident.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.09pm on Thursday, 3 July to reports of a road traffic collision involving four vehicles on the A832 near Achanalt.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene, and crews assisted emergency service partners.
“One fire appliance remains at the scene.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are currently in attendance on the A832 near Achanalt following a road traffic crash involving two vehicles.
"The incident happened at around 3pm on Thursday, 3 July, 2025. Emergency services remain at the scene."
