Fun at Badcaul Primary as Easter tea bring £180 boost to school fund

A WESTER Ross primary which has a school roll of just five managed to boost its kitty to the tune of £180 and have a lot of fun into the bargain with an Easter tea.

Badcaul Primary’s event raised £180 for school funds with a new shed or den for the garden high on the wish list as pupils enjoy outdoor activities.

Organisers paid tribute to everyone who supported the event which saw the children run a Guess the Veg in Peter Rabiit's Garden game enjoyed by all. The prize, fittingly, was a basket of fresh fruit.

A raffle of Easter treats generously donated by the local community also went down well with the children picking out the tickets and distributing the prizes.

A spokeswoman for the event said: "We would love to thank everyone who came along, and also those who donated prizes and cakes. Everyone who attended had a grand time and the sun even came out!"
