AN Alness youth group is putting locals in the picture about a photography contest it has arranged.
The Place youth group in Alness is staging an April photo competition with a chance to win some prizes.
Children aged between 4 and 8 are asked to submit a picture of "your favourite thing in the world". There are three prizes ranging from £10 to £20. 🌎
For those in the 8 to12 age group, the theme is "your favourite thing about Alness or around the community". Prizes range from £15 to £25.
In the 13-18 category, young people are asked to submit a picture of "your favourite thing about Alness" and
"three things you like the most about Alness and three things you would most like to change about Alness". Prizes range from £20 for third to £50 for first prize.
The group said: "When you have taken your picturess, please submit them to theplaceyouthclub@gmail.com with your name, age and contact details."
All submissions must be in by April 16. Winners will be announced at midday on Saturday, April 17.
