AN Easter Ross community group has confirmed plans for an outdoor market next month.

Tain and District Development Trust said the community market will go ahead on Saturday, April 17, following strict Covid-19 guidelines.

It said: "We asked what your thoughts are on the Tain Community Market returning in mid-April and we had a very positive, solid response from the majority of you being in favour of it taking place in April, as long as we ensured all Covid restrictions are followed.

"So in response, we propose to run with the community market on Saturday, April 17, as planned, and we will be publishing full information shortly."
