AN Easter Ross supermarket branch hosted a plucky charity shave at the weekend for causes close to the hearts of those brave enough to take part.

The initiative held at Asda Tain on Saturday morning resulted in £500 being donated to Tickled Pink, the supermarket's charity initiative which supports the work of Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! as part of the store’s ongoing commitment to supporting Asda's national charity.

Three employees at the local branch took part in an in-store fundraising event, where colleagues Sean MacIvor, Holly Cox and Sorrell Jones braved all and got their heads shaved to raise funds and awareness towards Tickled Pink's work.

Mr MacIvor also braved a leg wax for the occasion.
