PATROLS on a protected stretch of Easter Ross water are aiming to ensure compliance with regulations over salmon fishing.
The Cromarty Firth Fishery Board and Trust says the Allt Graad at Evanton is a Category 3 salmon river.
This means no salmon caught on rod and line whilst fishing it may be retained.
Patrols have been conducted on it to ensure compliance with the Conservation of Salmon (Scotland) Regulations.
Board staff have also been continuing with patrols of the Alness.
The board said: "Please remember fishing for salmon without legal right or written permission is an offence."
