Alness man appears in private accused of violence and possessing a weapon

An Alness man has appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court accused of a number of offences.

William Macrae (31) was charged with violence, possessing a weapon and making threats.

He made no plea, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
