Tain commercial premises break-ins may be linked say Easter Ross police





TWO reported break-ins to commercial premises in an Easter Ross town earlier today have prompted an appeal from police.

Police believe the incidents, at a petrol station and garden centre in Tain’s Morangie Road, may be linked.

The time of the break-ins - during which nothing was taken - is thought to have been around 3.15am.

Police said in a statement issued this afternoon: “Following enquiries, these incidents are being treated as potentially linked.”

Sergeant Hugh Moonie said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0389 of October 25, 2024.
