AN Easter Ross school has paid tribute to members of its local community who contributed towards a fundraising drive for less fortunate folk in the run-up to Christmas.

Invergordon Academy thanked pupils, parents and staff who donated to its MFR Cash For Kids fundraiser last week.

A £500 cheque, plus some donated gifts to the charity, were delivered this week.

Representatives from the school also picked up the parcels that will be delivered to families around the Invergordon area in time for Christmas.

The school said: "The charity are still desperate for donations. If you want to help out please visit their website or social media pages."
