A double decker bus got stuck in Inverness' winter wonderland last night.

The bus, which had taken a wrong turn into the dead end road was unable to move on Woodlands Park around 5pm, where earlier in the day a number of delivery vehicles were also stuck in the 10cms of snow.

The bus was eventually freed, but not before residents on the street took photos and offered the driver a warm drink.

One resident said she wasn't surprised the bus got stuck in the cul-de-sac, as it was most likely meant to be on Woodlands Drive.
