MEMBERS of a Ross-shire support group got a warm welcome on doorsteps this week when they came calling.

Alzheimer Scotland – Ross-shire runs resource centres in Tain and Dingwall.

The group said it saw "a lot of happy faces" on visits yesterday delivering goodie bags and afternoon teas to those it supports.

It said: "But we couldn’t have done it without the help of Sean at Asda Tain , Laura at Greens and Stepping Stones Nursery for Christmas cards from the children. We can’t thank you all enough it was greatly appreciated and certainly made everyone smile."
