A SINGING supermarket delivery driver becoming who is a familiar face to customers across Ross-shire and beyond has reworked another classic to reflect a hot topic.

Better known to many for his work as a compere, events host and radio presenter, Liam Christie took a job as a delivery driver for Tesco when the coronavirus lockdown put his own business temporarily on hold.

His penchant for taking familiar songs and injecting them with a bit of humour and some fresh lines has been a hit on Facebook since he started sharing his tongue-in-cheek efforts.

Inspired by some of the latest twists and turns in politics, Mr Christie has used the Johnny Cash hit Ring of Fire to offer his own commentary on the Dominic Cummings issue. The Prime Minister's top advisor has hardly been out of the headlines over the past week following revelations about his trip from London to Durham.
