CHILDREN at a Ross-shire nursery relished the chance to get into character for some spook-tacular seasonal shenanigans last week.

Pre-school education provider Dingwall Ducklings, based in the town's Peffery Road, fully embraced Halloween by throwing a special fancy dress party.

But the fun wasn't limited to the witches and warlocks as staff too made the effort to look the part, some transforming themselves into convincing looking Minions for the day.

Harking back to the traditions of old, classics including dooking for apples and pumpkin carving added to the fun.
