Road users in Dingwall warned of temporary route closure for tree felling

MOTORISTS in Ross-shire county town are are being advised of a temporary road closure to allow for tree felling.

Highland Council says there will be a temporary road closure on a section of the C1071 Dingwall – Docharty - Achterneed Road.

The closure will extend from its junction with Docharty Road and extend in a northward’s direction for around 800m at 8am on Monday, June 1 to 5pm on Friday, June 5.

The temporary closure is to allow contractors to carry out tree felling safely.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes will be available via the A834 Strathpeffer Road - C1071 Dingwall- Docharty - Achterneed Road.
