The practice flagged up a "catastrophic" IT failure to patients last night.

Affecting phones and computers, in an initial post today it said: "Our phones and computers are still down this morning.

"For urgent calls only please call us on 07803596071 or 07921170945.

"Please keep these lines free unless your matter is urgent for today.

"As soon as we are back up and running we will let you know.

"We are not involved in Covid vaccine boosters so please do not call us about these but call the Nhs Highland vaccine helpline instead."

A later post reiterated the message to contact the practice for any urgent matters via the two mobile num ers given.

And it added: "We will also accept walk in patients for urgent matters only today.

"Please come to the health centre between 10.30-12.30 and 2pm till 4pm.

"Ring the bell at the front door and be prepared to answer questions about Covid as we are screening patients.

"If it is very busy you may be asked to wait in your car.

"If you are on repeat medication please bring the reorder slip with you.

"Thank you for your understanding. We will advise as soon as our systems are back up and running again normally."
