Dingwall Library became the latest High Life Highland library to offer a click and collect service as part of the charity’s bounce back campaign.

Customers are now able to telephone or email Dingwall Library to request specific items from stock.

They can also ask staff to choose a selection for them based on their interests.

Customers will be allocated an agreed time slot to collect their items and return any items they already have.

Social distancing measures are in place and books will be contained in a paper bag for handover.

Principal libraries manager, Julie Corcoran said, “High Life Highland has been delighted to be able to open a number of libraries across the Highlands since the regulations around the lockdown were relaxed and it is great to see Dingwall Library added to that list.

“We have been offering a ‘click and collect’ service at libraries throughout the Highlands for the last number of weeks and have been delighted with the feedback received from customers making use of the services."

The library is open from 10am to noon and 2.15pm to 4.15pm from Monday to Friday. Customers can reserve their slot by calling 01349 869869 or emailing dingwall.library@highlifehighland.com
