UPDATE: High Street reopened after alleyway blaze in Dingwall, police confirm

Police Scotland have warned the public to stay away from Dingwall High Street after a fire broke out early this morning.

Officers were called to assist the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service (SFRS) at around 6.15am after the blaze took hold within an alleyway.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland: “High Street in Dingwall is closed due to a fire within an alleyway that was reported to police around 6.15am on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

“Officers are in attendance assisting Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

“Members of the public are asked to avoid the area.”
