Dingwall concert ticket con merchant was funding gambling addiction
A Dingwall man managed to con over 20 people by promising them festival and concert tickets they never received.
Callum Gardener (25) managed to make £3002 through the scheme where he obtained money for tickets which he offered for sale on social media between July 22, 2018 and September 9, 2019.
He also enticed people to use their social media for the sale of tickets and bank accounts to induce people to send money to in order to fund his gambling addiction.

Gardener, of Burns Crescent, Dingwall pleaded guilty to the fraudulent scheme.
Sheriff Gary Aitken ordered Gardener to pay £3002 compensation to his victims and carry 150 hours of unpaid work as a direct alternative to custody.
Sheriff Aitken said: “I hope you understand this is an extremely serious matter. A gambling addiction is no excuse for preying on other people for your needs.”
