‘Amazing’ response of Dingwall shoppers hailed by community champion
The community champion for Tesco’s Dingwall store was out and about delivering donations with the first stop Strathgarve Primary to hand over a crate of stationery goodies.
She said: “The children were delighted. Keep an eye out for these kids, they may be coming for a visit in store soon.”
After that it was on to Gairloch to visit Strathburn House.
She said: “They have undergone a brilliant refurb. I donated them 24 table lamps to have in the residents’ rooms and communal areas.”
Last stop of the day was Poolewe Primary School, where another box of stationery items was dropped off.
Michelle said the store has some ‘clear to zero’ items which are gradually being donated to the local community “hoping to make a small difference”.
