Dingwall and Inverness Gaelic Choirs Eadarainn tee up pre-mod ceilidh

A GAELIC choir combining the talents of singers in Dingwall and Inverness will perform at a new cultural centre in the Highland capital this weekend.

The coming together of Dingwall and Inverness Gaelic Choirs created the group Eadarainn.

It is holding a fundraising pre-mòd ceilidh along with guests at the new Gaelic cultural centre Culterlann. It is the old East Church which stands in Academy Street, Inverness.

The Saturday (September 28) event starts at at 2 pm. Admission is by donation with teas and coffees served will be served at the interval.

And continuing the musical theme, the Muir of Ord Gala team is holding a Shindig in the Square in the village on Saturday evening from 7.30pm until 10pm featuring local Ness Factor winner Gregor Matheson and his band.
