Police Scotland officers in the Highlands appeal for information after Volvo digger damaged next to River Averon in Alness, Ross-shire

POLICE have appealed for information after a digger was damaged near a Ross river.

Sometime between 5.30pm on Wednesday, September 9 and 7.30am the following morning, somebody caused damage to a Volvo digger,

It was parked next to the weir and fish ladder on the River Averon in Alness at the time.

Anyone who saw the incident, or may have information relating to it, should call police in Ross-shire on 101 quoting incident number NE3626/20.
