Deacon Blue gig in Highland capital postponed

THE Deacon Blue gig planned for Friday October 30 has just been postponed until December next year, promoters LCC Live has announced “with sadness”.

Deacon Blue’s 2020 Cities of Love tour date at Inverness Leisure has been postponed to Saturday, December 11 in 2021

Tickets for the show remain valid, the promoters say, revealing that “Deacon Blue are longing to perform again”.

They add: “There is some good news, we are happy to announce that Jamie Lawson will be supporting Deacon Blue throughout the tour.

“Deacon Blue are also working on bringing something to you before the end of the year that we hope you’ll enjoy. More details on that soon.”

The band and promoters sign off with “Sending you love and good health, Deacon Blue & LCC Live”.

For anyone who hadn’t got tickets for the band’s show, there are still a small number available from www.ticketline.co.uk and Caffery’s Menswear Eastgate Inverness.
