Damage to signs in Alness and Invergordon sparks police appeal

POLICE are appealing for information after damage caused to signs in Alness and Invergordon.

The signs, which advised of the illegal use of off-road motorcycles, were damaged between January 23 and 26 — in the areas of Cnoc Navie and Wallace Hill in Alness, as well as Inchindown in Invergordon. Police say that some signs were also removed altogether.

Police Scotland Highlands and Islands said: “We're appealing to anybody with any information to contact us on 101, quoting reference number PS-20250129-1636. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously.”
