Cromarty Youth Cafe share daffodils with Black Isle locals to mark five years since Covid-19
KIND-hearted Black Isle locals have delivered a hand-wrapped daffodils to every resident in Cromarty, to mark five years since the Covid-19 pandemic.
Wanda Mackay of Cromarty Youth Cafe said: “Sunday March 9 was the Day of Reflection across the UK for the Covid-19 pandemic. It is an opportunity to come together to remember those who lost their lives since the pandemic began and to honour the tireless work and acts of kindness from that unprecedented time.
“People and communities are invited to come together on the Covid-19 Day of Reflection, to mark the day in ways that feel meaningful to them.”
Black Isle locals took to social media to praise the group’s act of kindness.
Caroline Fair said: “Wonderful Cromarty and beautiful children. You are the best.”
Angela-Grace Mcluskie commented: “I was super chuffed to received our daffodil, so excited to see them in full bloom!”
