AN Easter Ross town’s festive tradition is being maintained this year with the launch today of a special winter show.

The Studio Smith event at Tain offers a showcase to locally produced one-of-a-kind craftwork and paintings as well as handmade Scandi-inspired Christmas decorations.

As well as new paintings by Ingebjorg and Inger Smith, there are 2025 calendars, cards, place mats and coasters and tea towels and prints by Louise Worthy.

A new line this year are cushions inspired by Ingebjorg Smith’s sought-after wildlife paintings.

The Studio Smith Winter Show starts today and runs until Christmas Eve. It opens from 11am -5pm on Mondays to Saturdays.

The studio is found at1 St Duthus Place in Tain’s Chapel Road.
