Covid passports reach the Ironworks with the Highland venue's David Rust date next week

The Ironworks venue has announced that Covid passports will be required for events open after midnight and events over 500 capacity.

The first show that will need people to have the passports will be David Rust next Saturday (October 2).

The venue said last night on its social media that it had just received full guidelines on Covid passports.

"We are under no illusion this is going to be challenging for everyone," the post said.

And then the venue confirmed that they would "... keep you updated on what shows will require this. This comes into effect from Friday October 1, at 5am, so our shows this weekend are unaffected by Covid passports".
