Tickets flurry for County's festive fixtures
A BUSY year at Ross County is set to continue with a frantic flurry for tickets for home and away matches over the festive period.
Tickets for the clash against Hibernian at Easter Ross on Boxing Day have gone on sale via the club’s website today (Monday) along with the tickets for the Staggies’ eagerly anticipated trip to Celtic Park on Saturday, December 22.
Tickets for both matches will be available over the phone and in person at the Global Energy Stadium from 9am on Wednesday.
With tickets also on sale for Tuesday night’s Scottish Cup replay away to Inverness Caledonian Thistle as well as home league matches against Dundee on December 15, Hearts on December 29 and the first league derby with Caley in Dingwall on January 2, it’s a busy time for County.
General Manager Ranald Gilbert said: "2012 has been a phenomenally busy year for the club, but that’s just the way we like it! The achievements of Derek and the team have been unbelievable and, whilst we’re certainly finding that the move to the SPL brings with it its additional pressures. There’s a real buzz about the place as we all try and raise our game to meet the challenges presented by the most successful period in the history of the club."
County have only played Hibs and Celtic on their own turf once before, earning a 2-2 draw at Easter Road in 2010 on the run to the Scottish Cup Final and narrowly losing out to the hoops 2-0 in the Scottish Cup in January 2004.
