Ross County Football Club is on the hunt for a new signing to lead community projects across the Highlands and islands.

The region's only top flight club is scouting for a community coach to join its team.

The Dingwall-based club says the successful candidate will deliver a variety of different programmes and sessions "to an ever-expanding and growing demographic".

These include everything from high-quality football engagement programmes to educational and outreach work with people aged from three to 80.

The closing date for applications is next Monday (July 25).

As well as certain Scottish FA coaching qualifications, the successful candidate will have previous experience in delivering group sessions, which can be outwith football and a full, clean and valid UK driver’s licence.

The club is looking for a ‘can-do’ "attitude that enables you to lead on your own projects and build strong relationships with funders, suppliers and key contacts".

The appetite to travel across the Highlands and islands to deliver a broad range of programmes is also regarded as a must.
