THE Highlands' only top flight football team is closing the doors of its club shop amid growing uncertainty over the cornonavirus.

Ross County FC took to its social media channels to tell fans, suppliers and customers that the Dingwall club shop will close today.

A statement said: "We will continue to provide a service via the online shop and telephone calls will continue to be answered.

"The Staggie Lotto will continue to be drawn each week as usual.

"This decision has come about because of COVID-19 and the measures that all business are putting in place to prevent the spread of the disease. We urge all fans to monitor our website going forward as we continue to operate in a rapidly changing environment.

"Finally Ross County FC would like to pass on our best wishes to all supporters and stay safe in the current climate.
