VOLUNTEERS are being sought as efforts to revitalise a key piece of Tain's history gather pace.

Tain and District Development Trust is seeking volunteers to help clean or clear up the area outside the Picture House building.

The clean-up, which will begin at 10am on Saturday, June 12, is to allow safe access for contractors the following week.

The Trust said: "Both sides of the building need to be cleared of rubbish/debris/weeds. A trailer will be provided to transport the rubbish away to the local recycling centre."

Should anyone wish to find out more information, or to volunteer, then contact Dave Macrae at the town's Enterprise Hub on 01862857182 or email dave.macrae@tainddtrust.com.
