Highland Christmas and New Year bin collection and recycling centre opening plans announced

HOUSEHOLDERS and businesses in the Highlands have been advised of bin collection and recycling centre plans over the festive season.

And the good news is there are no changes to the regular bin collection cycle.

The local authority said: "With thanks to our Highland Council bin collection crews, there are no changes to household and business waste collection dates during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

"All household waste recycling centres will be closed on 25th & 26th December and 1st & 2nd January."
