Strathpeffer Pavilion hosts joyful Christmas party for local care homes
AN iconic Ross-shire venue beloved of thousands of people down the decades played host to a special Christmas bash for five care home.
The event at Strathpeffer Pavilion organised by Strathallan House, included a performance from Strathpeffer Primary School, Dingwall Academy Strings Club, a service with Reverend Ronnie Gall and much more.
The small family run business, which operates five care homes across the North of Scotland, aimed to spread the festive joy for Highland residents from seven local care homes, with a special Christmas party at the pavilion.

Over 130 guests joined from a variety of local care homes, including Strathallan House, Fodderty House, Southside Nursing Home, Hillcrest House, Seaforth House, Fairburn House, and Urray House.
With residents’ health and wellbeing firmly at the centre of the event, ensuring a fun packed festive period, the Christmas party kicked off with a special performance from Strathpeffer Primary School students, singing Christmas carols.
Following a service with Reverend Ronnie Gall of Fodderty and Strathpeffer Parish Church, guests enjoyed a performance from Dingwall Academy Strings Club before enjoying a Christmas lunch prepared for by Strathallan House chefs.
The fun didn’t stop in the afternoon for residents and their families, with accordion player, gifted singer and Mod Under 16 champion Sophie Stewart entertaining guests with her performances.
Final acts included a piper and the Marion Munro School of Dance, before the party closed with live music with Tickety Boo.
Being integral to the local communities and supporting residents to live full, active and healthy lives, Carers Scotland often hosts events for its guests at each of its care homes, including summer garden parties, Halloween parties, community bonfire nights at Fodderty House, and the homes’ recent participation in the first ever Care Home Games.
